We investigate the biology and treatment of central nervous system disorders through rigorous neuropharmacology and translational research.

Our work integrates experimental neuroscience, natural product discovery, and systems-level approaches to understand how brain function is altered in disease—and how it can be restored.

With a strong focus on conditions such as epilepsy, neuroinflammation, and brain–gut interactions, we identify bioactive compounds from Ghanaian flora and evaluate their mechanisms, safety, and therapeutic potential.

Beyond discovery, we are committed to translating science into impact—advancing evidence-based therapies, strengthening research capacity, and informing health systems and policy across Africa and globally.
