We welcome enquiries from prospective students, collaborators and journalists. We collaborate on natural product pharmacology, epilepsy and gut–brain research, and health-systems work across Africa and internationally. We are also open to hosting visiting researchers and to joint grant applications.

Postgraduate study/Research Internships
We supervise MPhil and PhD students in the Department of Pharmacology and welcome research interns throughout the year. Before applying, read at least two of our recent publications and identify the research questions that interest you. We are particularly interested in applicants who demonstrate a clear understanding of our work and how their interests align with our research.
Submit a single PDF containing: Cover letter (maximum one page); CV; Academic transcripts or degree results; Research interest statement (maximum 300 words).

Supporting the lab
Research consumables, animal housing and student stipends are the constraints that most often limit what we can take on. If you or your organisation would like to support the group’s work, we would be glad to discuss what is most needed.
